I strive for excellence in my work.
“Let us realize that: the privilege to work is a gift, the power to work is a blessing, the love of work is success!
David O. McKay
When it comes to my work, the amounts of effort, energy and time I put in determine the end result. Because my work is so important to me, I invest the utmost into my job. I want the products of my work to be flawless and helpful. Putting my all into my work shows that I strive for excellence. Effort is an important element of how I go about performing my work. I try to complete whatever it is that I am charged to do. Sometimes, I jump right in and try to figure out a project as I go. Other times, I realize I need some instruction, so I figure out a way to get the help I need. But regardless of the way I plan my approach, the effort I put into a task is a determining factor of the results.
I also invest a great amount of energy into my work. The energy I put into my work allows me to focus on the task at hand and produce excellent results. I believe that the amount of time I spend working on a project is also a major determinant of my excellence. Taking plenty of time to do a job allows me to be thorough and detailed in my work. Today, I feel certain that I perform as diligently as possible to produce an excellent work product. I plan to continue to work toward achieving excellence simply because it is important to me.
