Show up strong

I show up strong, give wholeheartedly, and lift others higher through my actions.

Ikigai with Aloha is a gentle, structured journey that helps you turn purpose into practiced strength—steady habits, clear boundaries, meaningful service, and relationships that grow warmer over time.

What you’ll build

  • Clarity you can explain in one sentence (what you’re here to do in this season).

  • A wholehearted plan that doesn’t become over giving (service with boundaries).

  • A weekly rhythm that protects faith, family, health, work, and rest—within 24 hours.

Who this is for

  • You want to contribute more, but you don’t want burnout, resentment, or chaos.

  • You’re in a transition season (new job, graduation, parenting shift, recovery, relocation, retirement planning).

  • You want structure that stays gentle: clear steps without pressure or shame.

The 14 sections (expanded)

Use the same rhythm each step: Reflect → Choose → Schedule → Do → Review.

  • Welcome (Strength baseline)
Reflect: Where am I strong right now, and where am I tired?
Action: Choose one focus for this season (faith, family, work, service, health, direction).
Output: A one-paragraph “starting point” + one guiding word (steady, brave, grounded).

  • Ikigai foundations (Your strengths + your joy)
Reflect: What do I love? What am I good at? What needs move my heart? What can sustain me?
Action: Write the four lists and highlight strengths that lift others (encouraging, teaching, organizing, building, listening, leading, caregiving).
Output: Top 3 “strengths × needs” intersections to test.

  • Mission, passion, vocation, service (Choose your giving lane)
Reflect: Who do I want to lift higher in this season?
Action: Generate top 10 ideas for each category; choose one lane for 90 days (not forever).
Output: Four 1-sentence drafts + one 90-day lane.

  • Life domains & balance (Strength requires capacity)
Reflect: What drains my strength (sleep debt, screens, stress, conflict, over commitment)?
Action: Identify 2 leaks and 2 anchors; set one boundary and one restoration practice.
    Output: Domain snapshot + a 7-day experiment.

  • Relationships, work, growth, adventure, legacy (Lift your circle)
Reflect: What do I want people to consistently feel because I showed up?
Action: Choose 3 core relationships to invest in; schedule one “together time” block; choose one repair step.
Output: Circle plan + one relationship action scheduled this week.

  • Logic model: Your Aloha Plan (Wholehearted with structure)
Reflect: If I keep showing up, what good should be visible in 3 months and 1 year?
Action: Map inputs → activities → outputs → outcomes → impact (include support people as inputs).
    Output: One-page Aloha Logic Model.

  • Clarity (Who/What/Where/When/Why/How)
Reflect: What exactly am I doing, for whom, and why does it matter?
Action: Define your “who” and “what,” plus where/when it happens; choose 3 simple KPIs.
Output: Clarity statement + KPIs (signals you’re on track).

  • SMART goals (Strong goals, kind pace)
Reflect: What goal would prove I’m living my purpose with follow-through?
Action: Write 1 priority goal + 2 supporting goals; define your minimum viable week.
Output: 90-day goals + weekly minimums + next actions.

  • SWOT (Protect your strength)
Reflect: What threatens my consistency—overgiving, distraction, fear, fatigue, isolation?
Action: SWOT + 3 safeguards (boundary, support, redesign, skill-building).
Output: Safeguard plan you’ll use when life gets busy.

  • Habits & measures of success (Strength is repeated)
Reflect: How will I measure success beyond money or applause?
    Action: Choose 2 inner-life habits + 2 outer-life habits; add a weekly review ritual.
    Output: A meaning-based scorecard + 4 keystone habits.

  • Priorities (Strong people protect the important)
Reflect: What important action keeps getting postponed?
Action: Sort urgent/important; delete or delegate one drain; schedule “important-not-urgent” first.
Output: Weekly priority plan with protected blocks.

  • Emotional transformation & healing (Give from wholeness)
Reflect: What emotion is driving my giving—guilt, fear, bitterness, loneliness, shame?
Action: Name it; choose what you want instead (peace, courage, connection, security); take one support step.
Output: “Name it → reframe it → support it” plan + one support action scheduled.

  • Time truth (24-hour map)
Reflect: Does my calendar prove I’m strong (rested), wholehearted (present), and lifting others (helpful)?
Action: Track real time (including screens) and shift 1–3 small blocks for next week.
Output: Real Life Map + Next-Week Map.

    • Step 13 expanded (24-hour map)

Goal: make “show up strong + give wholeheartedly” visible in time, not just intention.

      A) Build your Real Life Map

Track 1 weekday + 1 weekend day in 30-minute blocks (include scrolling, transitions, and “zoning out”). Then total hours into the domains below so they equal 24:

      Faith ___ | Family ___ | Friends ___ | Health ___ | Hope ___ | Self ___ | Service ___ | School/Work/Commute ___ | Sleep/Rest ___ = 24

      B) Create your Next-Week Map (only 1–3 shifts)

Move only 30–90 minutes total toward the domains that most strengthen your ability to show up strong and lift others.

      C) Domain actions (minimum + upgrade)

Domain Why it matters for “show up strong” Minimum next-week action Upgrade (if capacity)
Faith Builds inner steadiness so strength isn’t just willpower 10 minutes prayer/scripture before screens, 3 days One community touchpoint + encourage one person
Family Wholehearted giving starts with presence at home One phone-free meal/check-in daily (10–20 min) Weekly family huddle (20 min) + one shared joy activity
Friends Support prevents burnout and keeps you accountable One real conversation scheduled (call/walk/meal) Two touches: gratitude + one practical help offer
Health Your body is the engine for patience and consistency Movement 3x/week (20–30 min) + sunlight when possible Prep one default meal/snack to reduce stress
Hope Planning + learning turns effort into direction One 30-minute planning block (next 3 steps + schedule) One mentoring/coaching/therapy step taken
Self Restoration keeps giving from turning resentful 15 minutes solitude/journaling 3x/week One hobby/creative block weekly (45–90 min)
Service “Lift others” works best when aligned, not people-pleasing Choose one service lane + clear start/end time Serve with family/friends (connection + contribution)
School/Work/Commute Focus + boundaries keep work from consuming your life One protected deep-work block (60–90 min) Daily shutdown routine so work ends on time
Sleep/Rest The foundation of strength, mood, and kindness Bedtime window 3–5 nights/week + 15-min wind-down One real rest block scheduled (nap/nature/sabbath hour)

      D) Screen-time swap (fast win)

Pick one boundary (first 20 minutes screen-free, app curfew, or one screen-free prime-time hour) and replace it with sleep, a call, prayer, a walk, or journaling.

Future-self (Finish strong)

  • Reflect: At retirement, who is stronger because I kept showing up?
  • Action: Write a future-self letter; choose 3 “finish strong” qualities; take one next step within 48 hours.
  • Output: Future-self letter + 48-hour action + weekly review appointment.

Quote + mantra

Quote: “Strength isn’t intensity—it’s consistency, integrity, and the courage to keep showing up for people in small faithful ways.”
Mantra: “I show up strong, give wholeheartedly, and lift others higher through my actions.”
